That comment is a sufficient exagerration as to be fundamentally untrue.

AutoCAD is the undisputed market leader in the U.S., though not in a number of other countries, and that's probably about it. The market leader is not necessarily the technology leader, value leader, ease-of-use leader, productivity leader, etc.

A couple of dozen or more other architectural CAD vendors would seem to be sufficient evidence to dispprove that everyone uses the U.S. market leading software.

When we discuss such things, let's try to be a little more down to earth, on solid ground. Thanks!
