Dear Shaun,
I think the idea of negative space is really interesting. The solid structure holds the void.... By reading its poetic meaning, I love its metaphor that the new-born structures in some sense protects the past, the fragility, and the site of tragedy.

A sense of monumentality - that's what I love about it.

However, the structure itself seems a bit hard and stiff. Although I believe your work would compose a freindly scenery with the NY skyline, somehow it lacks the exploration of new invention....Look at what Daniel Libskind and Norman Foster have achieved. They are amazing.

Negative space.....that's interesting, but the whole body of work still needs some brain-storming to make it better.
