Why is it that trucks and SUVs have become so popular? It used to be, not very long ago, that the only people driving trucks were guys named Billy Bob or Cletus, who had a wad of tobacco in their mouths, and worked on a farm.

I am 50 years old and, when I was a teenager, everyone wanted a muscle car. As a young adult, my peers and I were into sports cars. I still am. I drive a 1996 Mitsubishi 3000 GT, which, in my fantasy life, I like to pretend is really a Porsche 917 racing car. ;)
