I agree fully. I am often perplexed by the dichotomy between our housing market and its penchant for "Old World" style, on the one hand, and our almost childish fascination with the latest high-tech gadgets and cars. Personally, I prefer to make everything in my life consistently modern, if possible. Unfortunately, Richard Meier houses are priced beyond my reach.
