Well, even though the turtleneck is a classic style, keep in mind that those interviews were filmed quite some time ago, in some cases. I mean Mies and Corbu have been dead for quite a while, now. Besides, it's the hip modernists who wore (wear?) turtlenecks. "Real" architects wear whatever is in their closet that doesn't smell like it hasn't been washed in a week.
