I agree they should try, to the extent that is possible. However, I prefer that we eradicate the threat of terrorism, to begin with, rather than planning to live with it as a given condition of life on earth. To do otherwise is analogous to putting a bandaid on a tire to stop it from leaking air. I seek to live in a world that is free from terrorism, rather than design for a world in which it is a fact of life. However, given the possibility terrorism will always be a threat, then let's take whatever measures we can to deal with it.
