First of all, thanks for clarifying what you meant by "IFC." I'm still not sure exactly what "Industry Foundation Classes" are, though. Is this a term used a lot in Britain? In the U.S., there are. of course, codes and industry standards for foundation design and construction, but everyone in the industry knows what they are, so there isn't any great need for exchange of information about them. I'm not really sure what it is you're asking.
