mabey the young modern architects get so much coverage as they are seen as 'breaking the mould'. as in they dont have so many habbits and preconcieved ideas(oops, that sounds a bit arrogent doesnt it!) but its kind of unfair. the older get the coverage as they are total experts in their field and they take middle age as time to master their craft. i think the press sensationalise things, only covering either end of the spectrum. ithink it is probably a media bias thing, trying to be revolutionary and going with the young and trendy - trying to be cool, but not able to ignore the experts.
