Some architects have studied feng shui to be informed by it, perhaps using some concepts as another "pattern language" without learning the full discipline. We also hold on to architectural concepts from the past western culture without questioning them.

How do you know a greek order is a better concept than a feng shui layout? You'd have to fully understand both, and I doubt many do.
