We can split hairs on this point ad infinitum, Kevin. My point was that the term was coined by architects, as opposed to non-architects. In either case, it really doesn't matter anymore. It's been a long time since the term was coined, and the label "International Style" has long been understood to refer to the works of Gropius, Le Corbusier, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, and others of their ilk. YOu can't argue with the facts, and the fact is, in every book, article, film, video, etc. on modernism, you'll find the label used to refer to these architects and their work.
