they have done this within their professional capacities, and using their status within the profession.

I am not aware of this ever having happened before.

I consider it highly relevant and, in my view, worthy of respect.

the only parallel of which I know was that the one and only professional body to have refused to implement the anti-Jewish regulations of the Nazis was the French association of architects in Paris.
