Thank you for taking so much time to respond to my developing thesis. Your own words and the article you attached are very helpful.

You begin to touch upon some larger issues which relate to general cultural perceptions of significant structures and their debasement/replacement by other structures of transient value. This has enabled me to see that I can more nearly approach my subject through a consideration of those larger issues and how they are typified in the church and most particularly the contemporary church building.
