Friends,
I am with you in your views in general. But what will be the future of a noble profession, in a place plagued with corruption and malpractice, where the very Peers who preach codes of professional conducts etc in the colleges, don't follow them when it comes to practicing the trade in real life. The very people who have quizzed young minds during the final viva-coce, make these new players in the trade look and feel foolish for attempting to uphold professional standards and ethics.
The interaction in this forum counters the wrong signals of disillusion that is being constantly spread by our mentors in the minds of the newer generations. The response in this forum has convinced me that architecture is still alive and kicking too... I hope my friends in the profession who visit this forum will feel truely encouraged... Though this may mean for many of us lower monetary returns etc, Its time we rise and firmly say NO to what is wrong at least for the sake of safety.
I thank every participant and this Forum, for the space, time and participation.
Sunaabh. S
