there is a current project in Norway for Nordlands Hospital for child and youth psychiatric (BUP)/adult psychiatric (VOP) and somatics. (this is quite a small project: 1 500 m2 new building and 2 500 m2 alterations)

there are others (for example in Kiel in Germany) but the details will not be in English.

it depends what you mean by a mental hospital, since these tend to vary considerably these days. At the heavier end, there was a project for a new 70-place building for Broadmoor (high security) won by Oxford Architects.
