Why ?

Because architecture is a profession of great social importance.

In Britain the profession may have been steadily compromised over the last couple of decades, but it remains a profession which includes many of very high character and simple plain decency.

They are finding it difficult enough to cope with a government that appears to be disinterested in the clear wishes of millions in Britain - but what of those with narrower education and experience ?

The current situation is a disgrace to a nation like Britain - besides everything else that is being shamed and potentially destroyed in Britain, it is the decent professionals who can do more than most.

That is why. Is it inappropriate ? Maybe - maybe not.
