I hear that despite the extreme resistance of Bush, an investigation of 9.11 is actually beginning. It is about time, isn't it ?

There are some tough old birds in Washington who still know right from wrong and who really want to find out what happened and why.

They do not like people who kill Americans peacefully going about their business in New York - and they especially will not like any Americans who were involved.

I have the strange feeling that Liebeskind's scheme, if it is ever built, will be seen as the shame of America, not as a symbol of remembrance and pride.

Many may disagree, but I believe that if this investigation is allowed to be thorough and honest, Americans will face one of the steepest learning curves in their history.
