Not sure exactly which mosque (camii) it is, but I would think that it is work somewhere in Turkey or the former Ottoman empire by Sinan. The guy was greatly influenced by St. Sophia's - Hagia Sophia in Constantinople - Istanbul.

There is a great website for Turkey Check out the site map and there is an area devopted to Sinan the architect. It might prove to be some help. Its definitely his style of work from about the same period from your small image. 16th century. Hagia Sophia is on a hill similar, however the building has had a painted facade in an brick color for a long time, in addition to there being lots of urban infrastructure around it including a large citypark on the down slope and an ancient city wall. Right era........... Sinan drew his personal style which has come to drive the visual of Ottoman religious complexes from the impact of Hagia Sophia. I can tell you what its not: Seljuk, Safavid, Cairo,or Moghul.
Good luck.
