"poor baby!" ? what kind of attitude is that?

"often hard to find anywhere else, and periodically you get asked politely for a donation. What a hardship! "

Yeah well it comes with the commercialized web spam territory and most people are sick to death of popups, popunders, sneaky cookies and junk mail. I for one am always annoyed when I go to a web site and the damn thing "explodes" like the fourth of July with half a dozen popups, popunders, flashing bouncing whirling ad text and popups that open more of them when you close them.

"You may not be aware that GreatBuildings.com and ArchitectureWeek are the sponsors of this forum"

No kidding!
I'm aware, it's still commercial spam, and your response smacks of commercial advertising. Yahoo has thousands of free message forums just like this, so what?

"Alternatively, we would also be most happy to receive an endowment of funds "

Yeah wouldn't we all!

Sorry, I support the Library of Congress not a commercialized site.
Adios then.
