This one far too ample attempt. I haven't sarched the net, but on hyerogliphics I remember one old authoritative maybe pair of books still around for sale (at between $100 and $200); it seems wih the basic meanings there are in Spain near always in sales, today I have seen one in my town (Zaragoza) on hyerogliphics by about $6. Encyclopedias also use to have 2 pages with such basic meanings for translation. The same happens with mythology, specially greek, egyptian and celt; tons of cheap books from which maze it is difficult to get clear picture.
Respect funeral rites I think the Book of the Dead is a must for reading, giving light on the transmitted ways of egyptian religion.See this link for one book on your subject
