He wishes he was half as intelligent as a brain surgeon. Another self -important jerk. The analogy doesnt even come close. Perhaps if he was designing a house for himself he may be able to say that, but even so, brain surgery would be closer associated with engineering so perhaps he meant plastic surgery on himself.
