Yes, by all means listen to Ken. He seems to be best qualified to answer your question. But just for kicks, and I like writing stuff down without giving it any thought whatsoever, here are some more of my opinions: 1. Debt: suck it up guys. If you think its tough now, wait till you have a few dependents under your wings. Your "debt service" years are the years when you have the most relative wealth, and fewest responsibilities. 2. SU grads in NYC: there are a lot relative to other schools, not that it matters, but it shows that they are employable in a fairly competitive environment. 3. Weather : I agree that this should be a non issue since you're not going there to recreate. Nevertheless some people are caught by surprise when they have to walk to studio in sub-zero temps. I never said it was a reason to go or not to go.
