Steve G.: I agree completely with your premis EXCEPT in these ways:
1. Not everybody has "the look". Its not something you can learn. But sometimes you can compensate for that with quality training.
2. You can get a perfectly good education at any school : its usually up to your willingness. But some schools offer more avenues of learning. And although you might not learn anything from a "superstar" faculty member for example, or a proven methedology, there is the possibility that you will, and that experience cannot be reproduced elsewhere.
