It depends on how you imagine such hall needs to be. I two days ago saw used in Grand Central Terminal the excuse of the plan being "that of a butchery" to place besides the winners of the competition two even more close to the moneys (yes, that time as well).
Hence you may want a hall dign of a barony or simply a modern and up to date entry to your home. Were the last the case, you should make use more than any thing of your ideas about design items that should be put in place to satisfy your requirements. Were you thinking of some big hall to awe visitors other more customary tricks as size and zenithal or drum lighting may work ... except putting you maybe in XIX thinking mood (something that to some purposes, seeing what we see today, wouldn't be as bad as it may look first sight).
I also would recommend to make your design inspiring and light-hearted, for everyone will appreciate this, preferring it to outdated seriousnesses no longer sustainable for any reasoning mind.
