I am in my 3rd year, and am one of the best students in school (which is not the topic) but will try to make my point. I have had a few Design Professors who never built anything, who are close to retirement, and I did great with them. They made me look at things from totally different perspectives (no matter how skewed), and this was a great experience.I did learn a lot and that knowledge I do not think I would be able to apply anytime in the future. When I started my 3rd year I found myself facing reality, where at times it was so difficult to transition from "ArchiSculpture" to "Architecture". I am doing great, and my grades are more than perfect, but I have friends who faced this difficulty, and simply cannot get out of this "visionary stuff". We are not the same, and we all love different things, but reality is something else OR perhaps not?I am just curious to hear what do you people think?
