well, it depends on what you want. some universities are more pragmatic such as RMIT in Melb and Curtin Uni in Perth, Melbourne university seems to focus more on theoritical approach. commonly, the course is a two-tier degree, with total of 5 year study and a year out.

i am 2nd year melb uni study and the life here is very rigorous
