Anything planted at height may have relevance to your thesis. Then do not forget to examine

the gardens of Babylon (reconstructions and so on)
terraces in general in flats and stepped architecture
the Rockefeller center
BEST proposal of cottages in trays built-in in skyscrapers
planted roofs (the technology)
