I am a rising senior at Trinity College in Connecticut, and will be applying to archit. grad. programs in the fall. I'd say my top choice, but it is more like my only choice, is the Harvard GSD program. I have done much research on all of the other pertaining schools that interested me, but I am sure of my decision based on all that I have found and been told about the GSD program. Not to get too far into the details about why, certainly the interdisciplinary approach to the whole GSD program, as well as the cadre, certain professors, students' work, and the overall pedagogical philosophy of the program and its Deans are just the broadest reasons.
I was wondering if anyone could please offer some advice or their opinion on what I might do to help my chances of being accepted. I am seriously considering applying uniquely to the GSD, not because of a lack of will to began my studies, but because of a certitude that this program is truly where I need to be. But I am unsure of the applied/accepted statistics, and I certainly don't want to put my career in jeopardy.
Thus, if anyone has any thoughts on the question, please respond.
Thank you so much for your time, and any advice you may offer.
