There is a great book about fluid dynamics that you may want to browse: "An Album of Fluid Motion" is the title. I contributed to a book of short projects that dealt with flow of water and buildings(?), not quite sure which direction your headed though. That book is titled: "Water Proofs" by the Washington State University Site Design Studio. Maybe Nervi can give you some ideas for structure. Check out Steven Holl or Peter Pran? You may already know of all these, but I hope it helps.
