A career is part of life and like life itself; you get on with it. If you love architecture, you must follow your heart. Your circumstances may be completely different to another person's. They may have become dispondent for whatever reason. But you cannot base your life on their mishaps. If you find it does not work for you in the future you are free to change. It is the same with life, if you are not happy with a characteristic or a certain way of looking at things, then you learn better ways. You constantly evolve. Even after death the evolvement never ceases.

I am not saying it is not good to listen to advice. But you can only take advice from another, once you know all the details and not just a little. Then you have to assess yourself and see if you look at life in the same way or whetehr your circumstances are the same. So as you can see, back to the beginning of this story. Get on with it, put everything into your career, as well as your life and know it may not always be an easy ride, but I can guarantee you that it will reward you with everything you need. Yes, it may not be what you want...(but this is another philosophy lesson)!
