You should check out some of these books:
"JSK- Airport Design" (JSK is an architects office specialized in
airports)
"Airport Terminals" by C.J. Blow
"The Airport" Author: Blankenship
"Building for air travel" Zukowsky (rather old fashioned)
Also check out Paul Andreu (chief architect of Parisian Airports, yet has build dozen and dozen of aiports worldwide - Title would be sth. like "I've built many airports" or "50 airports" , originals are "J'ai construit beaucoup d'aérogares" resp. "50 aérogares" - there are english versions)
Andreu's works are less technical than the others
