the same question that popped in my head when i was 14 and because of that i decided to discovered it myself by studying architecture.
i am now a fourth year student of architecture and in 2 years time im becoming a registered architect.

architecture is so subjective that the answer can sometime be satisfying or frustrating. look around you...buildings are all around you.some can be beautiful to look at or not. we (architecture students) always remind ourselves that 'a world without architecture is a world without shelter'.

sometimes they are famous because of the good and functional designs, or outrageous designs or extraordinary designs and the list goes on. architecture is where you live in, look at and surrounded by them. these...makes you reminded of the architecture and the architects themselves.in short, architecture is about you and you are about architecture as we architects design for you and the community.

but...there are architects famous because they are no longer alive! they left their "architecture" behind:for us...

that is my point of view. the most important thing is I ENJOY DOING ARCHITECTURE!
