Actually I know a community of "hungry modelers" who would gladly produce 2D renders like that. The geometry is not too time consuming if the the client can verify 2D drafting lines. (Digital file would assure less error, otherwise digital scanning of paper drafting is little extra work). The "people" models are readily available in 3rd party CDs, in 2D or 3D. Similar furniture to that is included in a good 3D modeling software( see fomz.com). The learning curve can take several years, and upgrades of the software are a few hundred per year. My point is: a viable, customizing, service providing community is out there. A client could get dependable results at $150 per rendering..... The posted picture could take over night if the resolution was reasonable.
