Hi
Alu and production alway's was a great problem ,guess Alu is more valuable than you think. Still extruded technologies that is most of what architects proberly will se, is different than assembling a honeycomb structure in neutral materials , ------ is surprisingly Digital and If you aproach a greater view about sheet material, I se multiple options, using the extrution technology nomatter Alu or Hay, When I promote 3D-Honeycomb extruded Alu sheets would produce spacecraft's or super fast sailboats, ------- do you want a sailboat the third the cost 4 times as strong ;))
Extruded profiles is a different aproach in terms of 3D-H, that shaped right, will prove better than today's boxwork , is stronger than Hell and cost a third , but shaping and fiddeling is more difficult than most people think, so even I have a lot of idears how to replace Alu production, with micro or macro 3D-H I am off vacation, guess a designer can have one each 5 year, --- 10 ;))
