I have been accpeted into Kent State and I hope to major in Architecture. I've been reading these and other fourms and I see lots of people who say that architecture does not pay well and is not a very rewarding career. I am very inspired from walking around cities like Chicago and Washington, D.C. and would love to design buildings.

Could I get some views / advice from people who have been in the business a long time and from those who are just starting out or who are still in school. I would be espically interested to hear from people who have graduated from Kent State.

I know this type of request is probably asked all the time on this board, but I would appricate it if I was allowed to be asked again.
