I need to find Safdie's email. Thanks for your help!

Dear Moshe Safdie;

My name is Hernan Casakin, I am an architect, a lecturer, and a researcher working in the ESLab (Environmental Simulation Lab), Department of Geography and the Human Environment. I hold a Ph.D from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. Research subject:"The use of visual analogy and visual displays in design", and a postdoctorate from the Hamburg University, Graduiertenkolleg Kognitionswissenschaft (Department of Cognitive Sciences), FB Informatik. Research subject: "Wayfinding, Spatial Problem-Solving, and Map Representation". My research interest is concerned with subjects dealing with cognitive sciences, and visual cognition, and of course to their applications to architecture, as well as to the architectural design process.
The reason due I am contacting you is related to my teaching activities of the course entitled "Contemporary History of Architecture". Recently, I have introduced some modifications to the curricula of this course, putting a particular emphasis on aspects concerned with Contemporary Architecture in Israel. Considering that you are one of the prominent and most influencing architects both in the world, and of course in Israel, I have decided to include some of your buildings and projects in Israel as a major bedrock of the course. In order to show my students your performance and contribution to the Israeli architecture, I would like to ask for your help. First I should say that I would have been very interested in interweaving you, but I understand that you are currently in Boston, with no plans to come to Israel in the near future. Since an interview is not possible right now, I will be happy to get some material that you can make me available about your viewpoint of the Contemporary Architecture in Israel, your theoretical approach, your design process, and pictorial material about your selected works in Israel. This last issue is the most important, since in my course I use to set a strong emphasis in the visual aspects of the architecture. Although I have found illustrations from some of your buildings in Israel, these are not always good enough to make an analysis from your designs in the level that I expect . I have the feeling that for the time being I do not have all the visual material needed to present a lecture in a level that will satisfactorily represent your name and your stature in my course of Contemporary History in Israel.

So I look forward to hearing from you, and many thanks for your assistance in advance.

Best regards;

Hernan
