Ok, AutoCAD-- but for what type of work? Architecture? Tool design? Electronics? Civil engineering? Mechancial engineering? AutoCad is not an entity unto itself, but is the process which serves to produce various types of work. CAD can be applied to any number of disciplines, and I hope you are not using your ambition to be merely a "CAD jock", doing work with no idea what you are producing or why, and without some definitive discipline [as noted above]. One can be a minimal "drafter" or "CAD Jock", but life is lot better when you know a technical discipline and fully participate in it.
