I am thinking of applying to some grad programs in architecture, but before I do, I'd like to know a bit more about the industry in general.

-which branches of the industry have the most/least jobs? What cities in the US have them? Are there any jobs at all?

-how does the internship work in conjunction with school?

-Where does the architect's job end and the civil engineer's begin?

-If I get a degree from another country, can I still practice in the US, or do I need an additional certification.

-What do you like most/least about the job? Do you regret choosing this field?

-Do you have any general advice before and after school?

-What kind of work did you do right after school?

Any general advice or info about the industry (mainly in the US) would be greatly appreciated.
