The context of quotes is important. Various news reports have tracked the splits in the families, and some major factions have developed. Monika Iken, for one, disavowed some of the actions that others undertook, and chose less confrontational approaches. Giuliani's recent interjections are notable, what do you make of that? In the end, the bus ramps are off the footprints, there is no shopping mall nor carpark over the south-west quadrant, and consensus seems to be developing on all underground/aboveground elements. The only remaining issue, according to reports this month, appears to be a proposal to add a 5th or 6th rail to the PATH station that would further and very significantly encroach on both footprints.
