I don't think you are approaching the problem correctly. Don't assume that all you have done to date is wasted. You don't have to start over. Get an accredited M.Arch degree, but don't throw away what you already know. Capitalize on your background, and integrate your knowledge and skills in your architectural studies and subsequent career. A background in IT combined with formal architectural training would be an interesting combination and many large architectural firms need people with IT and related skills who also understand the profession. Architecture is a changing profession and it needs people with diverse skills and abilities.
