I believe knowing many thinks helps you to become a better architect. It isn't about making the craziest thing- it is all about creating environment. and creating for PEOPLE! in order to do that you have to know a lot about society you live in, history, art, human psihology, philosophy... designing is a proces of thinking and changing the world.
anyone can build 4 walls and a roof. it takes much more to be an architect!
