H -again you give me something I hadn't
thought about, the language the framers
must have struggled with, just to get
their mission statement started. I did read somewhere, how they debated over which would be the more fitting verb to describe the senseless slaughter on 9/11, "killed" or "murdered"?, and now I see what you're saying. That puts "enduring"
and "universal" basically up for grabs.
And whoever provides the most compelling definitions within their memorial design could result in something quite grand and noble? I don't always need to get hit on the head with a piece of wood, to grasp
the obvious, but thanks for using balsa.
