Did you enter this competition because you were enticed by the prospect of fame and money, or were you propelled by your own heartfelt emotions to do something good to honor our slain brethren? The hours and days I spent on this project have been compensated with the knowledge that my design may have made someone somewhere happy, if but for one fleeting moment. The fact that I was able to enter a design at all speaks for the freedom and democracy we enjoy, which in and of itself is in stark contrast to the cowardly act of terrorism which claimed over 3000 brave souls. Lets hope that the final design and the designer/'s embodies the true spirit of humanity.
