I am currently a junior at this college. I am ok with this school so far but everyone I talk to outside this school completely bashes SCAD. they say that this school is not worthy and that this school wil not prepare me and such. what are the professionals opinions? does it matter where a student goes to school? To a ceretain extent I am sure it does, but I thought it would be a lot more portfolio based rather then scad vs. harvard/mit/ivy
can some of you either put me at ease, or tell me I need to think about transfering.
on a side note. I could always just get my bachelors here...
only a b.f.a. not b.arch... and then do masters somewhere, but I have looked into transfering before and it was not practical becuase I would loose a lot of credits.
my overall focus is to get a good education to help me get a good job...
is this the right school?
a thread to show you the bashing of SCAD. : http://www.archinect.com/discuss_cgi/groups/1524.html
