A few comments in the order they occurred to me:

1. Did "utilizing every inch of the pit" leave any room for the visitors (7-10 M the first year)?
2. Re: Your dream. Did the hallowed ground appear as "bedrock" or "rubble filled" or something else? Did you walk beside the "presence of GOD" or did you actually have an image of GOD? Was there any trace of the Liebskind memorial context that you remember, even an impression of canted walls or something? These questions out of curiousity and not out of ridicule...
3. You keep saying "we"; did you husband work with you? Your kids?
4. Was the "nourishes the body" metaphorical?
5. Second to last paragraph --- GOOD Point.
