Id recommend getting away from architects as often as possible. Architecture is a ridiculously incestuous profession. We spend all our time befriending one another, competing against one another, giving ourselves awards, marrying one another, and complaining to one another how little we get paid. This may sound counter-intuitive, but without my friends who are not architects I would not be able to maintain friendships with my friends who are architects. It's all about balance. My wife is not an architect, which helps keep me out of a padded cell and off of thorazine.

The best thing you can do is to get the hell out of the studio and have a beer with someone, anyone. The payoffs, both professionally and socially, are more valuable than any extra work you could accomplish in front of a computer. Come to think of it. . .
