We don't read much about Russian Architecture in the USA...wonder why?
Russia organizes their Architectural profession around Unions which are housed in the House of Architects in St.Petersburg and
Central House of Architects in Moscow. You might be able to contact them for a reference.

Or you could try these architects listed as contestants in a International Architectural Competition for the New Building of Mariinsky Theater held earlier this year... by invitation, so they must have something going for them in Russia (one would hope):

OR you could always write to Oleg Kharchenko and ask him...
