Even though you are experienced, it may be a good idea to take an architectural course-- drawing, materials, etc. [not a full blown degree course] just to learn the terminology, the wording, the numbering, materials, systems, construction types, codes, and dimensioning, and the approaches to projects. Then you can apply for jobs with some knowledge of what you will be facing and working with.
