Maybe I missed some earlier posts about the WTC memorial...but WE all feel the pain of 9/11, and WE are trying to get over it, just as you must be. We cannot lay blame on any one in our profession for contributing to this tragic event...just as we cannot lay blame on the airline industry for it either.

I find it strange that, of your "many questions regarding this issue", they are all focused on how we feel about it with regard to our personal feelings and how it effects us in our profession.

WE remember and we continue to strive to design better buildings for life safety and security measures during catastrophic events. But there will never be a perfect solution to what you term the "monumental event"... and I would hope that your life in architecture will continues on without this burden of wearing the reality blinders regarding the 9/11 event.
