Power as power sees it and on up to the Tower of London where for nearly 1,000 years there has been a royal palace? William the Conqueror began the White Tower in 1078 and successive monarchs left their mark as the Tower saw service as an arsenal, military barracks, mint, menagerie, jewel house, record office and royal prison and now Charles' Play house? It is still home to the Crown Jewels and 38 Yeoman Warders and their families isn't it? Wide spread indeed.....

Power or Pride?
