The problem or project given you will be the spark for your creativity, AFTER you are trained in design. Drawing is a good place to star, but you need 3 types-- manual drafting, CAD drafting, and presentation draings [renderings of building, or as many mistakenly call them, "Artist views". You need an understanding of persepctive drawing, and 2-dimensional drafting; the artistic asepct and the technical work used to provide the working drawings for the construction of the project.
